Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to use ViralSlice. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or agency, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

You register using your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Keep your credentials and connected accounts secure
• Notify us immediately at hello@viralslice.app if you suspect unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others or allow third parties to use it on your behalf

We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion.

ViralSlice is an AI-powered video repurposing platform. You upload a long-form video; our system transcribes it, scores moments for virality, reframes to vertical aspect ratios, and lets you polish clips with captions, music, and speed adjustments before publishing.

We provide the tools — you remain responsible for the content you upload and distribute.

You agree to use ViralSlice only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful
• Upload content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform's APIs
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent token limits, suspensions, or other restrictions
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service without our written consent
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without authorization

We may monitor usage patterns to detect abuse and enforce these rules.

ViralSlice operates on a pay-as-you-go token system. Tokens are purchased in packs and deducted when you confirm video processing.

• Token balances are non-refundable except as required by applicable Philippine consumer protection law
• Tokens do not expire and carry over indefinitely while your account is active
• If your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms, unused tokens are forfeited
• If we terminate your account for reasons other than a Terms violation, we will make reasonable efforts to refund the cash value of unused tokens on a pro-rated basis
• Payments are processed by PayMongo. All prices are in Philippine Peso (PHP) unless otherwise stated
• Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension

You retain full ownership of all videos, clips, and content you upload to ViralSlice.

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to upload your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent activity, including chargebacks or payment manipulation
• You upload content that is illegal or violates the rights of others
• Your account is flagged by a connected platform (e.g., a Google security event) indicating account compromise
• We are required to do so by law or court order
• Continued use of your account poses a security or legal risk to ViralSlice or other users

Upon suspension, your access to the Service and all stored content will be restricted. Upon permanent termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting hello@viralslice.app within 30 days of the suspension notice. We will review and respond within 10 business days.

You may also delete your account at any time from the dashboard under Settings → Data & Privacy.

ViralSlice allows you to connect and publish to third-party platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for:

• Changes to third-party APIs that affect publishing functionality
• Content removals or account actions taken by those platforms
• Any loss of access to connected platform accounts

We will attempt to notify you of significant API changes that affect the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
• AI-generated virality scores, transcripts, or clip suggestions will be accurate or suitable for your purpose
• Processing will complete within a specific time

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ViralSlice and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ViralSlice in the 90 days preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines.

For consumer-related disputes, you may also refer the matter to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or other relevant Philippine regulatory bodies.

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the dashboard at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of ViralSlice after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
