Understanding virality scores
Every clip is scored 0–100 based on speech pace, topic density, emotional peaks, and hook strength. Here's how to read and act on those scores.
- 180–100 — high-priority clips, post these first
- 250–79 — solid secondary content, good for filler days
- 3Below 50 — these may need light editing before posting
- 4Sort by score and start with your green-badged clips
Video tips for better clips
The AI pipeline performs best with certain types of source videos. Follow these tips to maximise clip quality and virality score accuracy.
- 1Use videos with clear, unobstructed speech — avoid heavy background music
- 2Minimum 2 minutes long; sweet spot is 10–60 minutes
- 31080p or higher resolution for sharpest output clips
- 4Podcast-style interviews and solo talking-head videos yield the best results
Sharing your clips across platforms
After processing, each clip card has one-click options to download, upload to YouTube, or get a guided share link for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- 1YouTube: connect once via OAuth, upload directly with title and privacy settings
- 2TikTok / Instagram: download the clip first, then tap the platform button to open the app
- 3Facebook: download and post as a Reel or Story via the Facebook app
- 4Pro tip: 9:16 clips perform best on all short-form platforms
Quick answers
What video formats does ViralSlice support?
MP4 and MOV (QuickTime). Maximum file size is 4GB.
How many clips does one video generate?
The AI extracts the top viral moments — typically 3 to 7 clips per 30-minute video, depending on content density.
Do unused tokens expire?
Standard token packs expire after 30 days. Magic (never-expire) packs are available in the billing page.
Can I re-process the same video?
Yes. Each upload deducts tokens from your balance, so re-processing the same video uses additional tokens.
What happens if processing fails?
Your tokens are refunded automatically for failed jobs. You can check the error message in the Upload page and try again.
